No. We start from fundamentals—installation, configuration, and core concepts. Basic IT or database awareness helps but is not required.

What tools will I use?

SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Azure Data Studio, and SQL Server itself. You’ll work with real instances for backups, tuning, and maintenance.
